Mike Christiansen

Vice President & Environmental Service Technician

Michael Christiansen represents the fourth generation of his family to carry forward Christiansen Heating & Sheet Metal’s legacy of craftsmanship. He began working in the shop as a senior at Bradford High School in 1994 through a co-op program with Local 18 Sheet Metal Workers, officially joining full-time after graduation. In 2013, he became co-owner of the business, helping guide its continued growth while maintaining its reputation for honest, skilled work.

A U.S. Army National Guard veteran, Michael achieved the rank of Sergeant and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2005 to 2006. He brings that same dedication and discipline to his role at Christiansen, where he oversees service operations, zoning projects, and maintenance programs. His expertise spans forced air zone control systems, hydronic and radiant heating, and residential new construction—always with a focus on long-term performance.

Michael completed his apprenticeship in 2001 as a Journeyman Environmental Systems Technician with Local 18 and holds EPA Section 608 Universal certification. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army NCO Academy.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling with his family. He and his wife celebrated 25 years of marriage in 2025 and have two children. He also trains and works with German Shorthaired Pointers and volunteers as a hunter safety and snowmobile safety instructor for the Wisconsin DNR.
